What Happens At Your First Facial Appointment

If you have never had a facial before, or you are new to the studio, here is what to expect.

1. Ask Any Questions

If you are unsure which facial to choose, call, email or WhatsApp me and I will happily help before you book.

2. Book Online

Book your facial online through Treatwell at a time that suits you.

3. Skin & Health Check

I will go through your medical history and skin concerns to make sure your treatment is safe, comfortable and right for your skin.

4. Arrive 15 Minutes Early

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your first visit, so we have time for your consultation without cutting into your treatment.

5. Relax & Enjoy

Lie back and enjoy your facial. Afterwards I will share any aftercare advice to help you keep your skin looking its best.

FAQs

Which facial should I choose?

It depends on your skin and what you would like to achieve. Hydrating Facials suit dry or dull skin, Deep Cleansing and High Frequency Facials suit congested or blemish-prone skin, and the Classic Facial is a great all-rounder. If you are unsure, get in touch or book a Classic Facial and I will advise at your consultation.

What happens at my first facial appointment?

Please arrive 15 minutes early. I will go through your medical history and skin concerns, then tailor the treatment to suit you before you relax and enjoy your facial.

Do I need to remove my make-up before a facial?

No. Every facial starts with a thorough cleanse, so you are welcome to arrive wearing make-up.

How long does a facial take?

It depends on the facial you choose. The Express Facial is the quickest option, while treatments such as the Hydrating Facial take longer. Treatment times are shown when you book on Treatwell.

How often should I have a facial?

Many clients book a facial every four to six weeks to keep their skin in good condition, but even an occasional facial can make a real difference. I can recommend a routine that suits your skin and budget.

Are your facials suitable for men?

Yes. I offer a dedicated Men's Facial, and all my other facials are suitable for men too.

Can I have a facial if I have sensitive skin or a skin condition?

Please let me know about any skin sensitivities, conditions or medication when you book or at your consultation. Some treatments may not be suitable, and I will always recommend the safest option for you. If you have a medical skin condition, it is a good idea to check with your GP first.
